The basics
When and where is BSides Philadelphia 2026?
Friday, December 11, 2026, at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, 900 Packer Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19148. The day runs 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and registration opens at 7:30 AM.
How do I get there?
By car: accessible from I-95, I-76 and Route 1. From I-95 take Exit 17 (Packer Ave); from I-76 take I-95 South to Exit 17. Parking is free on-site and valet is available.
By SEPTA: the Broad Street Line to NRG Station, then a short walk. Bus routes 4, 17 and 68 also serve the Stadium District.
From the airport: Philadelphia International is about 15 minutes away by taxi or rideshare.
What does parking cost?
Nothing. Parking is free and on-site, with room for every attendee, and valet is available at the venue.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes — Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is ADA compliant, with accessible entrances and facilities. If you have an access need we should know about in advance, email info@bsidesphilly.org and we will sort it out before the day.
Tickets
What does a ticket cost?
Four tiers. Prices below are the ticket plus the Humanitix booking fee, which is what you actually pay at checkout:
- Early Bird — $80 + $4.41 fee. On sale now, and the lowest price of the year.
- General Admission — $90 + $5.79
- Late Registration — $100 + $6.29
- Student — $35 + $2.66, with a valid student ID
Only Early Bird is on sale today; the later tiers open closer to the event. Humanitix passes 100% of its profits to charity. Full ticket detail.
What is included with a ticket?
All of it, for one price:
- Access to every talk, keynote, workshop and lightning-talk session
- Breakfast and lunch, plus beverages and snacks all day
- Free wifi and free parking at the venue
- Free swag
- The OWASP Capture The Flag — included with registration, no extra fee
- An evening networking reception, and networking breaks between talks
- Digital access to presentation slides afterwards
Is the Capture The Flag included?
Yes. The OWASP CTF is included with registration and needs nothing more than a valid conference badge. It runs all day: you pick one of six deliberately vulnerable OWASP applications, find a real vulnerability, patch it, and open a pull request that a GitHub Action scores automatically. Can I buy a shirt or a hoodie?
Yes, but only with your ticket. The 2026 T-shirt is $35 + $2.66, the hoodie $65 + $3.83 and the beanie $40 + $2.85. They are printed to order, which is why they are sold alongside the ticket rather than at the door — add them to the same Humanitix order.
What do I need to bring?
A photo ID, which the venue requires for entry, and your registration confirmation email. Check-in opens at 8:00 AM. You must be 18 or over to enter the casino premises, and the dress code is casual.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets are refundable up to one day before the event. That is the whole of the policy we publish today — if you need to cancel, email info@bsidesphilly.org and a human will sort it out with you.
Code of conduct
What is the code of conduct?
BSides Philadelphia is a harassment-free conference for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or technology choices. It applies to talks and workshops, networking areas and breaks, social events and after-parties, our online spaces, and anywhere else conference activity happens. Read it in full.
How do I report a problem?
Four ways, whichever is easiest in the moment:
- Find any staff member wearing a BSides Philadelphia shirt
- Email conduct@bsidesphilly.org
- Text or call the conference hotline — the number is given at registration
- Visit the registration desk
Staff will help you contact venue security or local law enforcement, provide an escort, or otherwise help you feel safe for the rest of the conference.
What happens to someone who breaks it?
Depending on what happened: a warning, expulsion from the conference without a refund, a ban from future BSides Philadelphia events, or a report to the authorities where a law has been broken.
Volunteering
How do I volunteer?
Through the volunteer application form. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so applying early gets you a better pick of roles. Open the volunteer form.
What does volunteering involve?
At least one four-hour shift on the day, which is what earns free conference admission. Volunteers also get a volunteer shirt and time with the speakers and organisers. You must be 18 or over, because the venue requires it. Questions go to volunteers@bsidesphilly.org.
Anything else
Can I speak at BSides Philadelphia?
We would like you to. The call for papers has the dates and what the form asks for. First-time speakers are genuinely welcome — there is a box on the form to say so, and we will pair you with someone who has done it before.
Can my company sponsor?
Yes, and it is what keeps tickets affordable. Sponsorship packages lists every tier and à la carte placement with current availability beside each one.
